YIKES!
What have I gotten myself into??? Long story, short: I rescued two feral sister Kitties from my backyard....I was going to have them "fixed and released"....turns out they were BOTH pregnant. Yep I have 9 kittens living under the day bed in my office. There are 5 white and 4 dark tabby. The moms are interchangable as far as the kittens are considered. It's like one GIANT litter.
Other than the massive amounts of kittens.....the other challenge is the Moms. They are both feral. The Tabby has turned out to be a SWEETHEART and can be handled and loves to be pet. The other Mom....well let's just say I can't decides whether to call her Hiss or Shred.....she'll need to find a home with a lion tamer.
The kittens will be handled a lot so they will be tame by the time they are ready to be adopted....I will post more later when they are more mobile. I'll try to put post some video too. Nine kittens together is ridiculously cute. I should have a kitten cam.
I will be needing homes for EVERYONE!
If you remember I fostered a litter of kittens last year....but the mom was tame and there were only 5 kittens...all went to great loving homes.
